As revolutions spread across the Middle East, leery travelers have been looking to destinations outside the region.  Because Daniel and I live in Jordan, we can confidently say, Jordan is still safe.  But everyone in the travel industry is saying that.  Travelers are still hesitant.

So, how about this. We will hitchhike the entire length of Jordan, to see if it is safe.

We’ll put in a few off-the-main-road destinations, just to make it a little harder for ourselves.  We will throw ourselves at the mercy of Arabs.

We will be leaving Saturday, March 12, and plan to return home, safe and sound sometime the next day.
