What Is Shawarma? A Video for Tony Stark

In The Avengers, Tony Stark asks, “You ever try shawarma?… I don’t know what it is, but I want to try it.”

Well, Tony Stark, you are in for a treat. Shawarma is one of the reasons I love living in Jordan.  After watching The Avengers, I decided to stroll down to my friendly neighborhood shawarma shop to answer Tony’s question.

At this particular restaurant, The Quarter Moon, they press ground beef and sliced beef together onto a spit and roast it over coals.  Check out the video and let us know what you think!
