DAY 1: Arrival - Cairo overnight
Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted and escorted to your downtown Cairo hotel. Check in and relax with dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant of your choice, all while enjoying stunning views of the Nile.

DAY 2: Egypt of the Pharaohs
Experience the wonders of Pharaonic Egypt with a private tour led by your professional guide. Begin your journey at the Pyramids of Giza, the oldest and only surviving wonder of the ancient world. You’ll have the option to enter the Great Pyramid, take a camel ride from the Great Pyramid to the Sphinx, and visit the Boat Museum for a truly unforgettable experience.
Have lunch near the pyramids followed by an afternoon visit to the Egyptian Museum, home of countless ancient relics including King Tutankhamun’s gold. After an optional visit to the museum’s Mummy Room, enjoy a sunset sail in a traditional Felucca boat on the Nile River.

DAY 3: Coptic and Islamic Egypt
Today you will get to know the historic city of Cairo and its people. First, your guide will take you on a walking tour of Coptic Cairo, including the Hanging Church and the Abu Serga Church, which contains the Holy Crypt.
After lunch, discover Cairo’s Islamic Medieval quarter. Visit Fat-ha Gate and walk through Moez Street to Azhar mosque. Experience the winding narrow alleyways of Cairo’s old oriental bazaar of Khan Al Khalili. Try your hand at bargaining for some gifts to take home (with your guide’s help!). Head to the Citadel with your guide, and enjoy the history and the wonderful views of Cairo.

DAY 4: Luxor's West Bank Tombs, Temples and a Farm
This morning you’ll take a 1-hour flight to Luxor. Explore the incredible sites of the Nile’s West Bank including the statues of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, and the unique Hatshepsut Temple which belonged to a famous female Pharaoh.
After a morning of remarkable sites, you will meet Egyptian locals for lunch at a local farm in their family home. Try your hand at making local flat bread which you will eat alongside your hosts in their home.
Say goodbye to your new Egyptian friends and their farm and head to the Pharaonic Workman’s Village, where those who built, painted and worked on the temples and tombs lived.

DAY 5: Luxor's East Bank Temples
This morning you’ll visit Karnak temple, considered to be the largest temple complex ever built. After this, head to the nearby Luxor temple and tour the majestic site, including the Avenue of the Sphinxes.
In the afternoon, you’ll have free time. Visit the Luxor Museum, enjoy a drink at the famous Winter Palace, or take an evening walk along the Promenade.

DAY 6: Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan
This morning head south to Aswan along a scenic route near the Nile River. Along the way you’ll stop at Edfu temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Edfu is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Next, visit Kom Ombo, a unique double temple featuring two sets of courts, halls, and sanctuaries.
You will then continue to Aswan, arriving before sunset.

DAY 7: Aswan's Island Temple, High Dam, and a Nubian Village
This morning you’ll tour the main sites of Aswan, including the High Dam of Lake Nasser and the Philae temple complex, set on a picturesque island.
Enjoy a traditional lunch and immerse yourself in Nubian culture on a walking tour of one of the villages, concluding with a delightful tea session at a friendly local family’s home.
Finish the day on a sunset boat ride around the beautiful Elephantine Island.

DAY 8: Abu Simbel
Discover the incredible UNESCO site of Abu Simbel on a day trip from Aswan. Witness the colossal statues of Ramesses II, explore the intricate carvings, and marvel at the stunning architecture of these must-see temples.
