Guidebook publisher Fodor’s Travel recently released its “Go List” for 2020. The list features 52 locations around the world the company considers “the next it destination, the next big event, or simply the places we want to travel to next.” The travel expert highlighted just 10 destinations in Africa and the Middle East, including Tunisia and Wadi Rum, Jordan.

Tunisia, Fodor’s declared, is “one of the world’s most overlooked and underrated travel destinations.” Of Wadi Rum, Fodor’s said: “This Martian landscape dotted with Bedouin camps and space-age hotels is like no other place on earth.” Check out the full article here.

This is Fodor’s ninth “Go List.” The company noted that year’s list included several locations that have recently experienced hardship, including natural disasters and uprisings over dictatorship. “But these places, along with all the others on this year’s list, have not only shown extraordinary resilience thanks to the people who have always called them home, but are stalwart in their perseverance of what’s to come next. And, ultimately, they are our inspirations for our tomorrows.” We couldn’t agree more.
